The way our audience are using the web and mobile devices is changing and it’s critical that we continue to innovate to meet their needs. We’ve been undertaking research for some time, including focus groups, usability testing, heat map analysis, analysis of current user behaviour trends and global best practices, to deliver a new homepage that meets our users’ and advertisers’ needs.
For our advertisers, the new design has been created to remove clutter, and ensure our audience engages with all parts of the homepage. The advertising positions have been strategically placed among the editorial to reduce right rail blindness, with a mix of content including a balance of text, video and pictures.
We’re excited to allow you to explore the new features below, and experience the new homepage ahead of general availability in mid-October.
