HOURS LEFT: Jetstar launches $59 sale
Australians planning to check out the Barossa Valley could skip down to South Australia for as little as $59 as Jetstar kicks off a huge sale.
Travellers have until midnight Thursday to snag the deal, with 5,000 fares available at the reduced price.
The tickets are for flights from Sydney to Adelaide, with Jetstar also offering one fee-free change on new domestic bookings until 15 December 2020.
The flash sale coincides with South Australia reopening its borders to NSW after NSW’s case numbers dropped.
The budget carrier will also increase its Sydney-Adelaide flight schedule from five trips a week to two trips a day from October, before again increasing in November with flights going three times a day.
Qantas will also resume flights from Sydney to Adelaide from Thursday, with a spokesperson saying this is great news for Australian tourism.
“The resumption of Qantas flights from Sydney to Adelaide and additional Jetstar flights on the route will be fantastic for tourism operators and local businesses in both South Australia and New South Wales,” they said.
“With the ongoing travel restrictions, we’re pleased to be able to help more travellers explore world-class destinations in their own country while getting more business and people back to work.”
