Angie Kent reveals she auditioned for FBoy Island: 'I'm too old'

The reality TV star admits she doesn't think she would've been a good host.

Former Bachelorette Angie Kent has revealed that she auditioned to host the new BINGE reality TV show FBoy Island but lost out to Abbie Chatfield.

Speaking on her podcast Two Girls One Pod with co-host and best friend Yvie Jones, the 33-year-old spoke openly about the show and why she’s glad she didn’t land the gig.

“I was asked to audition for FBoy Island, and Abbie got it,” she shared. “But watching it now, I don’t think I would’ve been a good host at all.

“Because to be around that amount of men, I would have been fricken trying to clear their third eye chakras, I’d be getting out my sage, I’d be giving them free therapy, unwanted.

“I wouldn’t have been a vibe.”

Yvie also pointed out that being around a group of 24 single men may have “triggered” her from her experience on The Bachelorette in 2019 when she had to date 21 guys.

“I’m too old, too,” Angie added. “I think 20s Angie would revel in that s**t. I’d eat that s**t up, I’d be flirty, I’d be cute, I’d be fun.

“30s Angie, she’s in her healing girl era. She is too old to be surrounded by 24 f**kwits. Soz to say it.”
