It's official. The '90s are back.

We've seen a hint of the era returning thanks to Gen Z who interestingly weren't around for most of the decade, but nonetheless, thanks to their fondness for the 90s, we're turning back time.

Dust off your crimper and get the scrunchies back in shape, LA Gear has returned and it's at Big W.

Yep, a sentence you never thought you'd hear.

Since the iconic fitness brand's launch in 1987, their popularity soared after releasing a line of cult high top sneakers that Kareem Abdul Jabbar would later collaborate with.

Pastel-hued memories

Along with their iconic mens and women's sneakers, LA Gear were also famed for their wide range of fitness wear of pastel coloured t-shirts, hoodies and trackies with that iconic '90s logo.

However, their soaring high popularity was relatively short-lived following a failed collab with Michael Jackson that ultimately landed them bankrupt in 1998, according to WWD.

Many thought that LA Gear had had it's day, but Big W had other ideas.

Now, the mass retailer stocks 100 pieces of the '90s fitness brand bringing back all the nostalgia.

“Big W is absolutely thrilled to be partnering exclusively with LA Gear on its comeback into the Australian market,” Lowri Breed, head of commercial apparel for the retailer, said.

“With its nostalgic nod to the ’90s, we know our customers will love the chance to brighten up their wardrobe with affordable pieces from the LA Gear range.”

Yes, they will.

How much of the '90s are returning?

The new range from LA Gear offers a wide offering of tees, long-sleeves, hoodies, socks, track sets in the iconic pastel hues as well as the block red, blue and black so there's a memory I mean, something for everyone.

Plus, they're pretty affordable.

You can nab a pastel lilac t-shirt for $15 with the matching track pant for $30.

Men's long-sleeve tees are from $20 while the very nostalgic branded three-pack white ankle socks in red, blue and black are $15.

While you can shop their wide range of fitness clothing and accessories, there's no news yet of the return of the cult hightop sneakers.

But, we thought we'd never see the return of '90s fashion and here we are.

With the new range dropping just recently, you can shop LA Gear's items at any Big W store and online.

The '90s called, and they're here to stay.
