Celeste Barber discovers unexpected Covid vaccine side effect

Celeste Barber recently got her Pfizer Covid vaccine and joked about an unexpected side effect.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the 39-year-old shared a video of herself in activewear and said, "A few people I would like to thank: Tracy Anderson for keeping my mental health in check. These nice people, Stax, for giving me nice things and Pfizer for my t**s."

She also added the disclaimer, "Shut up it's a joke."

Celeste recently clapped back at an anti-vaxxer TikTok user who criticised the Instagram star for telling her followers to get vaccinated.

"I got it!" Celeste captioned a photo of herself after getting the jab. "Get it if you can and let’s kick this in the d**k!"

The TikTok user then shared a video attacking the Aussie personality, but it’s the mispronunciation of Celeste’s name that has gone viral.

"You tell me why a fat slob like 'Celestie' Barber should be able to post on their Instagram and encourage other people to get the shot when people are dying and people are being maimed by these things?" she yelled.

In her signature dry humour, Celeste quipped: "It’s Celeste, you f**king idiot."

Carrie Bickmore notices Pfizer side effect

Carrie Bickmore also recently shared on The Project she'd found a small but harmless lump on her breast after getting her Pfizer jab.

"This is exactly what happened," Carrie said last week. "And I will admit I clicked on the clickbait today because mine didn't go up a size, but I was thinking when I was in the shower, after I got my Pfizer, I noticed a lump, and I thought that's weird, I will keep an eye on that."

"I texted a girlfriend who had the jab around the same time as me the next day and asked how she was feeling, she said 'fine, but my lymph nodes are up under my arms' and I was like 'of course, that's what it is!'"

The Australian Department of Health states enlarged lymph nodes are a side effect of the Covid vaccine, but a less common one and not anything to worry about.

On the website they explain, "These side effects are usually mild and usually go away within one or two days. Some recipients will experience more significant flu-like symptoms from this vaccination compared to other common vaccinations and may require time away from normal activities.

"These symptoms may occur after either dose but are more common after the second dose."

If a lump hasn't gone away after a few days after receiving the vaccine, speak with your doctor.
