'Side piece': Star's 'disrespectful' Kylie Jenner line slammed

Rapper Drake has been forced to apologise over a leaked video of a song in which fans say he ‘disrespects’ superstar Kylie Jenner with a contentious lyric.

The Hotline Bling artist was exposed in an unreleased track played on Instagram in which he and fellow rapper Future collaborate on a song that features lines about Kylie, her sister Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.

The actual line has fans divided, some arguing it was performed by Future, with Drake behind the song’s production, but Drakes’s subsequent apology suggesting otherwise.

“Yeah, I’m a hater to society,” Future can be heard rapping in a video that was uploaded on a live video, subsequently screen recorded by fans.

“Real sh*t, Kylie Jenner, that’s a side piece. Yeah, I got 20 motherf**kin’ Kylies.”

Kylie has since unfollowed the rapper on Instagram.

Drake apologises on Instagram

Drake meanwhile took to Instagram with an apology to his ‘friends’ believed to be Kylie and partner Travis Scott this morning.

“A song that Mark ran last night on night owl sound live set shouldn't have been played,” he wrote in an Instagram story. “It's a song that leaked 3 years ago and got scrapped shortly after. He was going to keep in the Drake/Future catalogue.”

Fans, however, were less than impressed, many calling out the rapper for making the comments when Kylie was 19-years-old and he was 30.

“So Drake called Kylie a side piece 3 years ago when he was 30 and she was 19,” one fan wrote.

Others simply branded the lyric ‘disrespectful’.

Kylie Jenner meanwhile has responded with just an unfollow, and an instagram post that shows she couldn’t care less about the claims.

Taking to Instagram this morning the makeup mogul shared a snap in a white leotard and matching boots.

“My days are made up of zoom meetings and playing dress up,” she captioned the set of photos.
