Glee actress Naya Rivera missing after four-year-old son found alone in rented boat
Former Glee actress Naya Rivera is missing after renting out a boat with her four-year-old son in Lake Piru, California.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that the 33-year-old, who played Santana Lopez on the show, had rented the boat on Wednesday afternoon, however never returned it.
Hours later her four-year-old son, Josey Hollis Dorsey, was found asleep, alone in the boat, with Naya nowhere to be found.
Josey is thought to have been wearing a lifejacket and is unharmed. He was reportedly found by another boater, who alerted the authorities.

A search and rescue mission was undertaken, however it has been suspended until daylight, with plans to resume the search on Thursday morning.
According to reports, her son said his mum had jumped into the water but was unable to make it back on to the boat.
TMZ claims Josey told authorities that his mother had "jumped into the water but didn't come back up".
FOX11 in Los Angeles reported that Naya's car was found parked near the boating company and her bag was still inside.
“He’s in good health,” Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Capt. Eric Buschow, told the LA Times about Josey.
“The family is going through a very traumatic time right now.”
He said they were able to confirm Naya’s identity after finding her wallet onboard the boat.
Naya shares joint custody of Josey with her former husband, Ryan Dorsey, whom she divorced in 2018.
Naya and Ryan shocked fans back in 2014 when they tied the knot, just three months after she had broken off her engagement with Big Sean.
The Glee actress welcomed their son, Josey, on September 17, 2015 at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.

On Tuesday, the actress tweeted a pic of her kissing Josey with the caption: "just the two of us."
Just last week, she uploaded a photo to her Instagram account alongside the caption: "Make the most of today and every day you are given. tomorrow is not promised."
Naya’s former Glee co-star Harry Shum Jr posted a Twitter message, simply writing: “Praying.”
