'I voted': Ireland Baldwin urges people to vote in topless snap

Ireland Baldwin really wants people to vote in the upcoming US Presidential election, sharing a topless photo on her Instagram that really got people talking.

The model, who turns 25 on Friday, went used two “I voted” stickers as pasties — to spread the word that “voting is cool.”

“Voting is cool and so are disproportionate boobs,” Ireland, who often preaches body positivity, captioned the image.

The series of photos Ireland, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, shared showed her posing in just khaki-colored bottoms next to a pool. Showing skin isn’t a big surprise for Ireland, who often models lingerie.

Her stepmother, Hilaria Baldwin, was a fan of the photos, giving the post two yellow heart emojis.

But she wasn’t expecting all positive comments. When Nick Simmons, son of Kiss’s Gene, commented, “I wonder how weird strangers on Instagram will get upset about this,” Ireland replied, “Can’t wait.”

She has said she tends not to read the comments, saying in 2019, “I like being naked. The slut-shaming and all the sh*t that I get all the time from posting a photo, I don’t even look at comments anymore.”

“People are wasting their time, honestly.…I’m going to continue to be naked and it’s fun and everyone should be. Honestly,” she told Cosmo.

And when her parents suggest she remove a photo, she tells them to “get over it,” noting, “People are wasting their time.” Ireland has long been using social media to encourage people to vote.

And she is backing Joe Biden in the Nov. 3 election. Of course, her father has long been portraying Donald Trump, or in her words “Cheetos dusty ass,” on Saturday Night Live, including this season of the NBC sketch comedy show.

Ireland’s cousin, Hailey Baldwin Bieber, also announced she’s supporting Biden — putting her at odds with her dad, Stephen.

2020 has become the year of celebrities using thirst trap photos to urge their followers to vote. Jared Leto also took off his shirt this week.

Sterling K. Brown and Kylie Jenner have also previously used the sexy bait and switch tactic.

“Celebrities definitely have a role to play and help us to meet voters where they are at, especially young voters,” Vote.org CEO Andrea Hailey told Yahoo Life.

“Not every young American is politically active, so sometimes it takes a celebrity reminding them why their vote matters and the power voting has in deciding issues that matter to them.”

Others have been doing their part as well. Broad City’s Ilana Glazer, for example, created the hashtag #horny4thapolls to get people motivated to vote by using the power of celebrity sex appeal.
