Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez slammed for 'tone-deaf' post

Jennifer Lopez and her fiancé, former professional baseball star Alex Rodriguez, have been slammed online after posting about ‘gratefulness’ from their private jet.

Alex took to his Instagram account yesterday to upload a photo of his future wife propped up on a flatbed on a plush jet, with a designer Hermes blanket underneath her.

“We have so much to be grateful for and are excited to be heading home to spend time with family,” Alex wrote. ”What are your holiday plans?”

Many people replied saying that while they wish they could also be with their family for Thanksgiving, they can’t travel due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“People are really really struggling. Maybe don’t post your enormous wealth on a private plane with Hermes blankets. Compassion is all you need right now,” one person commented.

“People lost their jobs … maybe stop posting your private jet. We get it … You’re rich,” another said.

"Hmm lets see...stay home lol can't visit family due to the pandemic," a third person commented.

Alex and JLo were in the middle of planning their wedding this year when the coronavirus pandemic hit.

The couple got engaged in March 2019, with Alex taking to his Instagram account to write: “Locking it down.”
