Yahoo Lifestyle Kate Middleton's Mom Low-Key Stole Her Dress and Wore It to the Royal Ascot
There's nothing new about a member of the royal family recycling the occasional dress, but pretty sure this is the first time we've seen Kate Middleton's mom borrow one of her daughter's outfits for a royal event. Though, to be clear, I'd be dipping into Kate's wardrobe all the time if I was related to her.
People reports that Carole Middleton stepped out at the Royal Ascot on Tuesday in a pink dress by ME+EM, and if it looks familiar that'd be because Kate wore it in 2021 to meet a 5-year-old girl named Mila, who she'd previously told on the phone "I have to make sure I go and try to find myself a pink dress. Hopefully, when one day, hopefully, Mila, we'll get to meet, and then I'll remember to wear my pink dress for you."

Obviously (based on this dress moment alone), Kate and Carole are super close—and they'll be spending a lot more time together once Kate and William move from their country home to Windsor—where they'll be nearby both the Queen and the Middletons.
A source recently told Page Six that “Central London won’t be their HQ. They’re looking at the best place for their young family in Windsor and around Berkshire. Catherine’s parents, Mike and Carole, are only a few miles away in the village of Bucklebury, while Catherine’s sister, Pippa, and her husband, James, are looking for a new country home, too. The Middletons are all so close and William loves them … and of course, this move will allow William and Catherine to take on a far more senior role in the royal family.”
Apparently, Wills and Kate have their eye on Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate, though honestly the entire thing is kinda dramatic. Ahem:
