MAFS' Beck reveals how much she was paid on Celebrity Apprentice

Married At First Sight star Beck Zemek has spilled details about her appearance on Celebrity Apprentice, including how much money she was paid.

The reality TV star, who recently welcomed her first baby with partner Ben Mitchell, spoke openly with So Dramatic! about her contract on the show and how the experience compared to MAFS.

While she denied that she was paid extra to be the season’s ‘villain’, she revealed that she was “pretty happy” with the amount of money she took home.

“So [you get paid] a lump sum to come over and then per episode after that, but it’s great money,” she revealed.

“I think everyone’s talking at the moment about Dom [Calarco] going on the show for $50,000. I’m like, ‘Oh, you can get more than that!’.

“I’m not saying how much it was, but there was no way I wasn’t going, especially when it’s a show about raising money for charity.”

She added that her experience behind-the-scenes was the “complete opposite” of her time on MAFS because she was paid well, looked after, and had someone else dress her and do her hair and makeup.

“It was completely different,” she remarked. “It is celebrity life. It is worth the edit no matter what happens, there is no way you don’t go.”

Benji Marshall's salary

The season’s eventual winner Benji Marshall spoke about his contract earlier this month and revealed that he was paid a lump sum where it didn’t matter how far he went in the competition.

“I think some people in their contract had that if they lasted a certain amount of time, you get more money, so they probably got fired early,” he said on Triple M's The Monday Scrum.

“During the first week, people started talking about how much they were getting paid and I said ‘yeah same’ but I was getting paid way more than that,” the NRL legend continued. “Let’s just say I was very happy.”

It was previously rumoured that last year’s competitors Michelle Bridges and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli were paid close to $50,000 each for their appearance, while Anthony Callea, Ross Noble and Shaynna Blaze reportedly walked away with $30,000 each.
