Nadia Bartel has showed off her trademark poise on the Brownlow red carpet after her show stopping ensemble almost fell victim to a wardrobe malfunction.

The shock moment came amid the ex-WAG’s return to the spotlight, just weeks after her split with husband Jimmy went public amid allegations of his infidelity.

In a snap taken hours before the awards show, Nadia appeared confident in a strapless aqua gown hallmarked by a thigh-high split.

Nadia’s stunning return to the spotlight

She accessorised the J’Aton design with perfectly preened blonde waves and a pair of pointy Christian Louboutin heels.

However, just moments after arriving at AFL’s night of nights, the mother-of-two quite literally stepped out of line and nearly fell out of the gown’s high cut split.

Showing us all how it’s done, the 34-year-old kept her composure and was quick to recover and get on with her official duties.

She was at the awards night as a red carpet correspondent for Channel 7, which saw her chat to the code’s biggest names and their glamorous other halves.

Staying strong

The return to the spotlight comes just weeks after Nadia and her estranged husband Jimmy hit the headlines with news of their marriage breakdown.

The pair were once viewed among the AFL’s most high-profile couples due to their respective careers and position on the Melbourne social scene.

However, Nadia has remained defiant throughout the news cycle, telling The Herald Sun last month her priority remains with sons Aston, four, and 11-month-old Henley.

“My single focus now is to continue to protect, care and provide for my two beautiful boys,” she said.
