Princess Michael of Kent suffers blood clots after having Covid jab

Britain's Princess Michael of Kent is reportedly suffering from blood clots after getting both of her Oxford / Astrazeneca Covid-19 vaccinations.

The 76-year-old has been recovering home for the past month after getting the jabs. No direct link has been established between the princess's blood clots and the vaccination.

A source told The Sun it has been a "worrying time for those around her".

"The princess has been unwell and has sought medical attention," the insider told the publication

"It has been difficult for those close to her to see her suffering. She’s really been through it."

Princess Michael, who is married to the Queen’s paternal cousin Prince Michael of Kent, 78, was diagnosed with Covid in November last year and was forced to self-isolate at her home in Kensington Palace.

In Australia, there were seven more cases last week of people suffering blood clots after receiving the Astrazeneca vaccine for coronavirus.

In total, there are now 18 Australians who have suffered blood clotting after receiving the Astrazeneca vaccination. Australians over the age of 50 are eligible to receive an AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

Royal's husband linked to Russia scandal

The royal's struggle comes amid accusations her husband Prince Michael of Kent used his royal status for personal profit and had a 'special relationship' with Russian president, Vladimir Putin.

An undercover investigation by two major British media outlets the prince's business partner, Lord Simon Reading, reportedly described the royal, who speaks fluent Russian, as "Her Majesty's unofficial ambassador to Russia".

In response to the allegations, Prince Michael's office released a statement saying that he "has no special relationship with President Putin" and that the two men last met in 2003.

The office went on to assert that Prince Michael "earns his own living through a consultancy company that he has run for over 40 years."
