Royal fans sent into frenzy over new photo of Archie: 'So cute'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry don't often share photos of their children Archie, three, and Lilibet, one, but when they do, royal fans become very excited. A new photo, which was originally released in August, but resurfaced today, shows Archie sitting in his mum's lap on a Zoom call with his grandmother Doria Ragland.

The photo of the Zoom call was shared by Professor Duchess Harris, who specialises in American studies and feminism. It's been fans' first glimpse of Archie since last Christmas, when the pair shared a sweet photo of the whole family, including baby Lilibet.

Major reason Harry and Meghan won't join royal family for Christmas

It comes following a source revealing why Harry and Meghan won't join the royal family for Christmas.

The royal family will spend their first Christmas without the late Queen Elizabeth II at Sandringham in Norfolk, and while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were reportedly invited by King Charles, they have seemingly turned the invitation down.

Royal biographer Angela Levin told The Sun, "The Queen’s death means that there won’t be as much pressure to have all of the family together - which is good because it seems Harry and Meghan won’t be present.

"I’m sure Catherine and William will be there by the King and Queen’s side for part of the holiday. Harry and Meghan aren’t coming which I think will be a huge relief for the rest of the family.

"The family will want to make it a very positive day after the Queen’s death and I think the Sussexes presence would most certainly dampen that."

She added that Harry and Meghan's Netflix docuseries, which is due for release just before Christmas, is likely the reason they won't attend, with the pair reportedly nervous for the family's reaction.

The couple is set to discuss other royals, including the King, Camilla and Prince William.

Angela said she wouldn't be surprised if Harry and Meghan "attacked" the royals again, adding that it's confusing because the couple want titles for their children Archie, three, and Lilibet, one, however, they don't want to "mix with the very people who can give them to them".

"Every time you think ‘they can’t get much worse’ they just do and I feel as if that is how the family is feeling also," she added.
