Lord Alan Sugar joined the Australian franchise as the host for the first time this season, having lead The Apprentice in the UK since 2005.

The Channel Nine series also saw businesswomen Janine Allis and Lorna Jane Clarkson join the show as advisors for Lord Sugar.

Since the competition premiered, fans online have suggested that Boost founder Janine would be a much better boss.

“Why not just make Janine the boss from the start,” one Twitter user asked.

“She would have killed it. An Aussie crew needs an Aussie boss purely to be relatable. Hope it improves.”

Janine replied to the fan’s comment, assuring that “Sugar is super experienced” and she has “lots to learn”.

Now, Shaynna has responded to the demand in favour of Janine.

“I think she'd be incredible,” she admits to us.

"She is a boss lady, she's firm, she’s fair, she called bullshit to me. I think she’d be incredible and she’d nail it.”

Shaynna recently slammed Lord Sugar after he commented on radio that she has a ‘face like a slapped arse’.

‘I want people to know that you can actually move forward’

Shaynna finished the show raising half a million dollars for her charity Voice of Change, which she co-founded to invoke a movement against domestic violence.

The Block judge says that she was in “absolute complete shock” raising that amount of money, and she’s very grateful that people believe in her cause.

“It just makes my heart warm knowing that people out there want change, they want to be actively doing something,” she acknowledges.

In the Celebrity Apprentice finale, Shaynna revealed that her charity meant a lot to her as she had personally experienced domestic violence in the past.

Shaynna now explains why she held back on discussing her deep connection to Voice of Change until the final episode.

“I felt like I didn’t need to talk about it until it was time to talk about it,” she says.

“Once I got to the finale I went, okay, people need to see why I'm so passionate about this, and I want people to know that you can actually move forward and have a great future, but you've got to make change and have change around you with good people to make that happen.”

‘She’s out there’

In the final episode, Shaynna called upon eliminated contestant Martha Kalifatidis to help in planning her epic charity event.

Shaynna confesses that Martha was the contestant she was most surprised about when filming the show, as she had already stereotyped her as a reality TV star.

“I had a preconceived idea,” she admits. “She's forceful and she's out there but she's also very smart and very funny.”

The Celebrity Apprentice champion also discusses Martha’s ‘selfish’ outburst in the boardroom which lead to her elimination.

“I knew she put her foot in it when she said that,” Shaynna says.

"When she was throwing me under the bus I knew she was doing it to stay in the show, so I had to do it myself to stay in there as well, and that’s just the competition.

“People put on their bootstraps and their armour and they’re into battle.”
