The 53-year-old paired the dress, which also featured a thigh-high split, with long black satin gloves.

At one point in the night, Nat posed with Finder co-founder Fred Schebesta, who appeared to have a different take on the theme, dressing in a patterned tracksuit and gold high-tops.

The ball raised over $2 million for cancer research and treatment, and was held at the ICC in Darling Harbour.

The Sunrise and Weekend Sunrise team MC'd the event together with James Tobin leading the proceedings for the night.

“Last year, we made the extremely tough decision to cancel our Snow Ball for the first time since we launched as a result of COVID-19 and it was devastating for our researchers who were unable to continue their vital work in cancer research and treatment,” Dominique Robinson, Chair of Tour de Cure Gala Events said in a statement.

“Cancer didn’t take a break last year so our mission hasn’t changed and we need to keep driving cancer awareness and ensure people continue to seek medical help despite the fear of COVID-19.”

Funds raised from the event will benefit Tour de Cure’s efforts, including much-needed pledges to a leukaemia research project conducted by the Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia and the worthwhile Canteen Robots for Schools program, bringing normalcy to high school students who cannot attend school because of cancer treatment or recovery.

Guests raised the huge sum by bidding on a luxury Monte-Carlo holiday, a private dinner for 12 catered and served by Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge, and a BVLGARI diamond necklace.
