Sunrise's Edwina Bartholomew slammed over 'messy' Zendaya interview: 'Her face'

Sunrise presenter Edwina Bartholomew's recent interview with Zendaya has gone viral as social media users branded it as 'messy'.

Zendaya was recently in Australia for the premiere of her newest film Challengers and did interviews to promote the movie, but she probably wasn't expecting to be asked who out of her co-stars, Mike Faist and Josh O'Connor, was the "best kisser".

The actress appeared shocked by the question and seemed to pretend as though she couldn't hear the question.

A video shared to Twitter shows Edwina asking, "Who's the best kisser?" with Zendaya looking like she misheard and asking, "Hm?"

Mike quickly jumps in to help her, and says, "Josh," taking the attention off his co-star, who nods.

"Thank you!" Josh says with a laugh, looking pleased. "Z's quiet!"

"I'm going to let y'all take that!" she laughed, pointing at the men.

"Zendaya pretending she didn’t hear the question at first. So real of her," one user wrote.

"Her face when she said it 😭," another added.

"And Mike, it seems, recognised the lameness of said question and immediately said Josh," a third said. "Love these three."

"Cause what is she tryna be messy for lmao 😂," someone else said.

"Why did she ask that 😭😭," another added.

"Embarrassing. Grade three question," one user wrote.

Others were left annoyed on Zendaya's behalf as she's happily dating her Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland.

"I really wish she said Tom holland because I love the videos of her mentioning Tom in interviews," one fan said.

Some defended Edwina, with one user writing, "I mean, t'was a horny movie."
