'Centimetres from death': Terrifying moment man rolls in front of car

Terrifying dashcam footage shows the moment a man cheated death after he rolled onto a motorway, into the path of a passing vehicle.

The video was shared to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page, and the footage was filmed along Sydney’s M7, near the Sunnyholt Road exit.

The driver with the dashcam is driving along the highway in the left-hand lane, while up ahead is a white vehicle stopped in the breakdown lane.

Just as the vehicle approaches the stationary car, which has pulled over on the side of the road, a man appears from behind the car and rolls onto the highway, right into the path of the oncoming vehicle.

Luckily, the driver quickly swerves into the right-hand lane, missing the man.

“Centimetre from death”, Dash Cam Owners Australia named the video.

According to details in the video recording, the incident happened on Tuesday morning at around 5.30am.

Yahoo News Australia understands the video is related to an ongoing NSW Police investigation.
