Ex-porn star jailed for murder after body found in shallow grave
A 24-year-old woman, who used to work as a porn star, has been sentenced and charged in relation to the murder of a man back in 2020.
Lauren Wambles, 24, who was professionally known as Aubrey Gold, was arrested alongside Jeremie Odell Peters and William Shane Parker last year in connection with the slaying of Raul Ambriz Guillen, a man from Alabama.
In July 2020, Mr Guillen was shot in the back of the head and buried in a shallow grave, in a secluded area in Florida, WMBB reported.
Wambles pled no contest to being an accessory to the second-degree murder after the fact, and was sentenced to 10 years in prison and five years of probation after her release.
Peters was found guilty of being an accessory after the fact to the murder of Mr Guillen, while Parker, who was charged with second degree murder, is awaiting his trial.
The 24-year-old testified against Peters and is expected to do the same when Parker goes to trial.
Mr Guillen, 51, was last at Peters' home in Graceville, Florida, about 35km away from where he was last seen before his death.
Authorities said Parker and Wambles, were also at the house at the time of the murder.
Investigators searched the home and found evidence linked to Guillen’s death, according to a statement from authorities.
According to the Panama City Herald, Mr Guillen's body was found on August 25, 2020, following the investigation.
The motive for the murder is unclear, however The Daily News reported that authorities believe drugs were involved.
