Family disappear while driving from Queensland to NSW
A mother, her two children and their grandmother have gone missing on a road trip in NSW's Far West region.
On Sunday afternoon, Darian Aspinall, 27, her children Winter Bellamy, 2, and Koda Bellamy, 4 and their grandmother Leah Gooding, aged 50, left Noccundra Hotel in Queensland.
The group had intended to stop off in Packsaddle, a remote township in Far West NSW, where they had booked accommodation.
But they never arrived at their accommodation and they could not be contacted. The four have been reported missing to officers from Barrier Police District, who launched an investigation.
Ms Aspinall, Ms Gooding and the young two children had been making the trip to Adelaide, police said.
They were driving in a charcoal Hyundai Tucson with Queensland Registration 729CV2.
All four are described as being of Caucasian appearance.
The children have brown hair and blue eyes. Ms Aspinall wears glasses and has dark brown hair, and tattoos on her right arm.
Police have issued a geo-target SMS alert to people in Packsaddle, Tibooburra, Broken Hill and surrounding areas.
