The mother of a Gold Coast woman found dead in a villa in Bali has shared her touching tribute to her daughter.

Olyvia Cowley, 24, “unexpectedly passed away” in the tourist hotspot on Friday, August 19, according to a GoFundMe set up for the family.

The cause of her death has not been revealed.

Ms Cowley’s heartbroken mother, Christina Blakelock, took to Facebook to reveal a new tattoo she got in honour of her daughter – a yellow sunflower with a yellow butterfly in the centre.

“Twinks… My Sun-My Flower… For you…,” Ms Blakelock wrote alongside a video of the tattoo artist working on her leg.

She revealed she bonded with the tattoo artist as they had both lost their daughters.

“It ended up that this man has also suffered a loss, the worst loss ever! His Baby girl has passed too,” she wrote.

“His daughters name is Clareatte meaning 'most beautiful Diamond’. Both our Diamonds now dance together.”

Ms Blakelock travelled to Bali and brought Ms Cowley’s body home on Friday, with a funeral for the 24-year-old planned for Saturday afternoon.

The service is being held at a Hillsong Church on the Gold Coast, with attendees encouraged to wear bright colours in celebration of Ms Cowley’s life.

Ms Cowley moved to Bali in April after quitting her job, according to a video she posted on TikTok.

In the clip, she showed her journey on the plane and arriving at a hotel.

In another video, she shared more snaps of her relaxing by the pool and enjoying cocktails.

She was planning on opening a boutique clothing business, a friend told the Daily Mail.
