Powerball draw 1357: Suburbs revealed in hunt for two winners of $80m jackpot

Powerball officials are still hunting the two winners of Thursday night's $80million jackpot, revealing the tickets were purchased in NSW and Victoria.

One entry was purchased from a NSW Lotteries outlet in the City of Fairfield in Sydney, while the other entry was purchased from a Tatts outlet in the City of Brimbank in Melbourne, The Lott revealed.

Yet both winners were not registered players, meaning the identity of the two ticket holders remains a mystery.

“Check your tickets Australia! There are 40 million reasons why every player should rush and check those numbers," the Lott spokesperson James Eddy said.

The lucky numbers you need to win are: 15, 34, 5, 11, 28, 8 and 27, with Powerball number 3.

To take out division one, all seven numbers must be matched along with the Powerball number.

Thursday's jackpot was the latest in the long line of mammoth prizes, a result of officials changing the rules in 2018 which meant winning Division One was made even harder, increasing the possibility of the jackpot rolling over.

It is believed one in four Australian adults played on Thursday night for draw 1357.
