Powerball draw 1357: TWO winners split massive $80 million jackpot

Two lucky Aussies have each become multi-millionaires, sharing Powerball's massive $80 million jackpot in draw 1357.

After five weeks straight of no division one wins, the prize jackpotted to the huge sum – only the second $80 million prize pool this year.

For draw 1357 – tonight’s draw – it’s expected up to one-in-four Australian adults held an entry.

The lucky numbers you need to win are: 15, 34, 5, 11, 28, 8 and 27, with Powerball number 3.

To take out division one, all seven numbers must be matched along with the Powerball number.

It's unclear where the winners are from or if they are even aware of the life-changing news.

Huge $120m jackpot won in February

While Powerball soared to new heights in February with a $120 million jackpot, there were two winners that night, each scoring just over $63.3 million.

A Coffs Harbour man was one of the lucky winners in February, who told The Lott officials he already had plans for his $63m win.

“I’ve started a wish list already. Straight up – a red sports car, a new house, holidays, you name it. I also really want to look after my family,” he said at the time.

“It’s funny as I’ve been watching the news all morning, and they were saying someone’s won Powerball in Coffs Harbour. I’m sitting here thinking, ‘I can’t believe that winner is me!’

“I’m going to have a weekend of celebrations with my family, but I still have to work today,” he said.

In March, a man’s decision to switch up his usual numbers paid off with a handsome $10m win.

The Moree, NSW, resident said he had been playing the same numbers for years before deciding recently to include special family numbers.

“I’m speechless,” he told The Lott officials.

“This is going to change our lives.”
