TikTokers have a way of convincing their followers to buy things that they really don’t need. Sometimes those efforts are calculated attempts to generate revenue (often in partnership with brands and business owners), but either way, in order for a product to go viral, there has to be a reason for people to actually want to buy it.

Recently, the same thing happened with user Eva Ngelista Zhou. On Feb. 11, she made a video showing off her new living room with its fresh furnishings, but all people could talk about in the comments was her sunset lamp.

This prompted Zhou to make a video specifically about the sunset lamp. It went even more viral than her original video, and has ushered in a whole new TikTok trend that even BLACKPINK’S Jennie is a part of.
