Dean Jones' son launches lawsuit against Aussie cricket great's widow
Dean Jones' 13-year-old son is suing the Aussie cricket legend's widow over a dispute over his will.
Jones died in September 2020 after suffering a heart attack while covering the Indian Premier League in Mumbai as a commentator.

The 59-year-old left behind wife Jane, daughters Phoebe and Isabella, as well as son Koby (whose mother is Kerri-Anne Hamilton).
Jones fathered Koby during a secret affair with Hamilton while he was married to Jane.
The cricket legend confirmed the affair in 2010 and spoke publicly about the scandal.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Koby has launched legal action against Jones' widow Jane over his estate.
Via his mother, the 13-year-old lodged the lawsuit on Friday, seeking an order “that provision be made for (Kobe) out of the estate of (Jones) for his proper maintenance and support”.
In the suit, Kobe reportedly claims the will does not make “adequate provision” for him.
“(Kobe) is a person to whom the deceased had a moral duty and responsibility to make adequate provision for his proper maintenance and support,” the suit reportedly reads.
“That distribution of the deceased’s estate in accordance with the deceased’s will is such as to not make adequate provision for the proper maintenance and support of (Kobe)."
Jane Jones is being sued as the executor of the will, which was reportedly made in 2012.

Last year, Hamilton revealed Koby’s heartbreak over his father's death.
“If you know my son you’ve probably heard him say, ‘Do you know my dad is Dean Jones?’” Hamilton wrote on social media.
“Proud is an understatement! He adores him and will no doubt live his life with a bat and ball in his hand.”
Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald, Hamilton said Koby “deserves recognition too.”
“It’s an awful time for his wife and his other kids," she said.
“I’m not trying to step out of line. I want to speak to you for Koby.
“I don’t want Koby to go to school and for kids to say, ‘We didn’t see you, how do we know you were his son?’ He deserves acknowledgment.”
Jones was farewelled at a small, private funeral in October last year, which included a lap of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Jane said her daughters Phoebe and Isabella would miss his “zest for life”.
“We have been deeply moved by the outpouring of love for Dean over the last week and can’t thank everyone enough for their support and for sharing their memories with us,” Jane said.
“It has been an awful time to navigate as a family, but I could not have thought of a more fitting place to say goodbye to my husband.
“What better way to honour him than with the music of his friends Elton John and INXS echoing throughout the empty stadium.
“We’d like to extend a huge thank you to the Melbourne Cricket Club and the MCG for their willingness to create our personal tribute to Dean and for Cricket Australia's support.
“We would also like to extend a big thank you to the Department of Foreign Affairs for ensuring Dean was returned home to us as quickly as possible.”
Jones played 52 Tests and 164 ODIs for Australia and is regarded as one of the country’s greatest white-ball cricketers.
He was inducted into the Australian cricket Hall of Fame in 2019.
