Aussie mates turn $6 into $202,000 with absurd bet

Six friends will certainly be looking forward to celebrating together after taking home a whopping $202,000 on a multi.

The six Aussie friends committed to their regular bet on every round of the NFL season, which resulted in a far-fetched $6 bet on a huge 15-leg NFL multi.

Nelson Moodie posted to Twitter, claiming five friends and himself have been placing multi-bets for a numbers of years on the NFL.

But only in their wildest dreams could they have predicted this massive 15-leg monster would have paid off.

“The past 5 years a few mates and I have put on a NFL multi bet of all games in a week, yesterday we went 14/14 and we needed a Jared Cook TD today for the win!” he wrote.

“Fair to say the group phone call went nuts when he crossed over for a TD! 33k each @sportsbetcomau YEAH THE BOYS!”

The bet was ambitious, to say the least.

  1. New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones over 36.5 passing attempts: he had 40.

  2. Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz over 35.5 passing attempts: he had 43.

  3. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper over 5.5 receptions: he had 6,

  4. Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor to score a touchdown: he had 1,

  5. Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey over 17.5 rushing attempts: he had 18,

  6. Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner over 49.5 rushing yards: he had 106,

  7. Jacksonville Jaguars RB James Robinson over 51.5 rushing yards: he had 102,

  8. LA Chargers RB Austin Ekeler over 55.5 rushing yards: he had 93,

  9. Over 41.5 points in Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins: 59 points

  10. Over 49.5 points in Detroit Lions vs Green Bay Packers: 63 points

  11. Over 44.5 points in New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks: 65 points

  12. Over 41.5 points in San Francisco 49ers vs New York Jets: 44 points

  13. Baltimore Ravens with a -7.5 handicap: 33-16

  14. Arizona Cardinals with a -7.0 handicap: 30-15

But it was leg No.15 that was incredible.

New Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook scored a touchdown, with around five minutes left in the second quarter, completed the multi.

Each friend will go home with $33,000 each.

Moodie also claimed there was no cash out offer, which would have made for a nervous wait for the final leg.
