New Zealand UFC star Israel Adesanya has stunned fans with a near perfect performance against the undefeated Paulo Costa for the middleweight championship at UFC 253.

Adesanya and Costa entered the fight with bad blood between them after months of trash talk, but only one man delivered on his promise.

Adesanya left no one in doubt that he is the best in the middleweight division after picking apart the hitherto undefeated hulking fighter with ease.

‘The Last Stylebender’ landed a head kick against Costa, before following it up with a counter punch that floored the Brazilian.

Adesanya mounted Costa and finished the fight, which sent social media into meltdown over one of the most “impressive UFC performances ever”.

UFC world stunned after debutant’s knockout

UFC debutant Ludovit Klein has made an incredible statement after knocking out New Zealander Shane Young with a vicious head kick combo.

Klein missed weight by four pounds on Friday and was a late replacement after Nate Landwehr pulled out of the fight at UFC 253.

But the Slovakian was entering the UFC with a seven-fight win streak.

And he showed why some were predicting an upset after putting away Young in absolutely devastating fashion.

Only a few minutes into the fight, Klein wobbled Young with a ‘gnarly’ head kick.

He then followed it up with a rapid right uppercut and a left hook that knocked Young out.
